I have no idea where to put this so I'm just going to stick it here... West Wing season 5 will be shown on E4 on June 8th at 9pm! Yay! About damn time, I say!

Lora.
Wow! Excellent news! Where did you find that out? I thought E4 would be showing nothing but endless Big Brother trash throughout the summer and so TWW Series 5 was going to have to wait until yet another group of self-obsessed social rejects have had their moment in the spotlight, and thankfully never heard of again!
Josh: Feel better getting that off your chest there, C.J.? C.J.: I'm a whole new woman.

Read it on TWoP, from a person who read about it in their monthy Sky magasine thing. I'm so happy about it, I heard Big Brother was on again, and was like "Ok, that's it, I'm done television-wise for the summer, it will only be switched on to watch WW DVDs". So yay! I will be happy for an hour a week, at least! I'm a whole new woman!

This is very pleasing news...
...but it still doesn't make up for the fact that Channel 4 are yet to start showing season 4: terrestrial showings of the previous three seasons all began in the winter months.
But then, as Dead Ringers so aptly put it on Monday, this would reduce the number of hours devoted to F*****s repeats, and oh, we couldn't possibly have that could we? I get nauseous when I see C4 schedules these days.

Saw the piece in the Sky mag today. Radiotimes currently lists the timing as 'to be confirmed' but they tend to do that anyway when it's something weeks away. For Channel 4 however, the amount of times they have said 'we only know schedules two weeks in advance' is a joke when they boast 'We're showing the final episode of Friends in July/Frasier in June' or whatever it is they say. Cheese heads. Read some blah blah today that the season 4 release will include bonus material. Have to wait and see on that one.

The Radiotimes has filled in the schedule for Tues 8 June and guess what?.......
That's correct, NO West Wing. And guess what's in it's place? THAT'S RIGHT!!! Repeats of Friends!
Today on E4 we have 14 episodes of Friends, and one of those is a two hour documentary about the show....

Hey guys, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I've just been looking through a few TV listings on the internet and 8th June doesn't look good for Series 5. Both 'On The Box' and 'The Radio Times' sites are saying 'Best Friends' at 9pm and 'Freinds' at 9.30pm. At the end of last week, 'On The Box' was saying "To Be Confirmed", so this must have been updated very recently. So much for the Sky Guide! Although, Sky probably did believe what they were printing was correct, it's just the Big Brother pandering idiots at C4 screwing them and us around! "President Bartlet's a good man. He's got a good heart. He doesn't hold a grudge. That's what he pays me for."

As much as I like to moan about C4 scheduling of TWW, have you heard what they are doing to The OC?
The repeat a week on Saturday of Sundays show is to be the last showing of season 1 untill September. BUT they are going to repeat the episodes they have already shown during the summer.
So they are planning to repeat a season of a show before finishing the season. Anyone work the reasoning for this one out? Cos I sure as hell can't.
The OC, TWW, Angel, 6 Feet Under, NYPD Blue, Oz, Third Watch, The Sopranos, Alias. When do you think C4 will just give up the ghost and admit that they do not know how to handle quality drama from the States?

I dunno. Anyone know the name of the programme scheduler? ? The O.C has been delayed due to Big Brother as far as I have been told.

I have heard from a friend who emailed C4 that they now have WW sheduled to start in 8-12 weeks. Isn't it just the hugest coincidence ever that BB ends in 10 weeks? </sarcasm> I hate BB!
I agree about the OC, NYPD Blue, Oz etc. Seriously, if they showed programmes like this more regularly, they would have a much wider fanbase than all these reality/makeover shows.
