Though it's interesting that Sky have more faith in The West Wing than C4 appear to.

It's a shame Sky One only ever had the rights to season one. Though, that said, they have shown season one more times than C4 which, well, ain't difficult given that they only gave each episode one chance.
I wonder if ER, prime time Wednesday night show on C4, had a strong following from the start or whether it established itself as it got going?

I think ER had some help from the "from the creator of Jurrassic Park" thing.

although they did have a huge amount of promotion for c4 and an unknown show.
i remember they even repeated the pilot a couple of nights later as there had either been power cuts or transmittion probs in some areas the first time around.

Saw an advert on E4 last night Season 4 starts on the 22nd July. So the sky magazine was wrong.

At least they are advertising it and it was quite a long intro for season 4.

I saw a trailer for the first time last night... dear me it was disturbing. JB's hands were shaking and they were talking about short term memory loss. Not going to be easy viewing then I take it...

Just seen that trailer for myself.
The Sam 'he's talking about, short term memory loss' bit is from 20 Hours in America and the rest of that trailer, with the shaky hands in the back of the car is from Election Night.

And the sad news is the first episode has been split into two one hour episodes, going by the Radio Times, anyway. Remember last year we got three double bills at the start of season three. This year no such luck and, damn it, 20 Hours In America IS ONE DAMN EPISODE YOU FREAKS (at C4)

Yes, but dear old channel 4 can't interupt the repeats of Sex and the City and the repeat of Big Brothers Little Brother and of course the live coverage.
When E4 showed the double bills last year Big Brother had finished I think that it the difference!
But I do agree 20 Hours in America parts 1 and 2 should definately be shown as one episode.

I agree with the last two posters I just had Telewest fitted at my new house on Saturday, basically for one reason! You know what it is. I couldn't bear to wait until midnight on weekdays in February. By the way has anyone been tempted to buy a Renault Vel Satis?
