Thanks, I checked the BBC website and they gave a very detailed write-up with a religious adherence to the 'no spoilers' concept. Would still like to see it, so I'll tape the late-night showing.
Cheers for all the help.

I didn't see S1 of 24 so it took me a while to figure out who meant what etc. in S2, but I'm now hooked. Have just watched the BBC3 episode from Sunday night and the images at the end have me seriously spooked. Question is, where do we go from here ?

Thank god for 24. it brightens up boring Sunday nights and makes the wait for the next west wing a little more bearable. It was really sad when George handed CTU over to Tony. Great programe. never saw the first season. is it as good. I'm thinking of getting it on DVD.

I would also recommend you watch season 1, the first 13 hours and the last 5 are awesome but there is a serious lull between about 3pm and 6pm. This is because, er, ummm, I forget, can anyone help me remember.....

Do you also remember the glaring continuity error at about 7pm?
(something to do with the big orange thing in the sky)
(don't worry non-viewers, this is NOT a spoiler)

oh was that the one where it went from night to day and then back again or the other way around? cant remember.
apparantly thats why they did the times all different this time, not starting at midnight anymore due to filming the first eps in the middle of summer when there is hardly any night. i liked it better running from midnight to midnight though!

Oh yes, bright light at the end of one episode, complete darkness at the very start of the next

Slight crossover question for those of us also following 24.
Firstly, how do you think Palmer and the administration are handling the post bomb situation ?
Secondly what, if anything, do you think Bartlett and the West Wing administration would do in these circumstances ?
All I know is that I trust Leo far more than I trust Novak.

oooooooooh great question! ok well to answer the first bit, i think palmer himself is handling it amazingly well. considering what all that has happened over the last 24 hours and how he can never be sure who to trust he is doing a fine job........ but on to the second question. the bartlet administration would be far better equiped to deal with the whole situation. bartlet and palmer are very similar presidents. both highly intelligent and ethical men (if only it were either one of them in the white house right now!) but bartlet has the advantage as he; 1- can trust his senior staff completely, 2- doesnt have a war hungry jim robinson as vp conspiring against him, and 3- doesnt have a psychotic ex wife roaming around on a golf cart stirring up trouble! BUT on the other hand bartlet doesnt have the advantage of super agent, saver of the entire world jack bauer on his side! so that evens the balance slightly!
