Er....
WTF was that last bit about last week?? Never seen anything so unexpected since the end of The Young Ones, but at least that was funny and made sense afterwards...

i never saw season 1 of 24. Was that woman in it or the man on the boat. It was quite confusing and unexplained. I think the President will be dead by the next season. Why did they try to kill him at the end are they still trying to start the war? Does anyone know when the next series is expected?

Gawd knows about the man on the boat, but since you ask about the woman...
...she was the one who blew up a plane in the first episode of season 1, parachuted to Earth, took all her clothes off, turned out to be a lesbian and then helped the first set of villains who were trying to assassinate Palmer... she vanished after a few hours and this wasn't explained. Her name is Mandy by the way: clearly great US shows decide that characters called Mandy can just disappear without explanation!
and season 3 apparently starts 3 years after season 2. Don't know much but, er, Kim works for CTU...so rule nothing out!

Can't believe we've got to wait years for the next season. I may have to buy season 1 on TV to tide me over til then.

The story is three years after S2. It will, however, start in America after the summer as per usual.

Here in Belgium, the pilot of '24' will be aired tonight! I have heard of the show, but I've never seen it, since tonight will be the first episode. From what I've gathered it's worth watching! You people all seem to love it ... so I'm giving it a try. I seriously doubt that I will get as obsessed with this show as I am with TWW, but in the end ... that's not my goal. One obsession is more than enough! I have to add this last line ... I LOVE KIEFER SUTHERLAND! Another reason to watch, I suppose!

Season One?
Few words of advice: even if you get bored in the first 5 hours stick with it, cause 6am-8am will blow your head off and you will think this is the greatest thing ever on TV. Then it will stay good until one of the worst plot twists in history sometime around 4pm. But again, stay with it cause the climax is excellent.

god yes you must watch it, esp if you love keifer. and yes stick with it even throught the bizarre and not so interesting stuff as the later ones are great! also whatever you do DONT go looking for spoilers. if you can know nothing about it, the twists are amazing!

Oh my God ... I have seen the first two eps and it truly is amazing! You are just drawn into the story! You just have to make sure you don't miss and ep. since it's fairly complicated to follow! I love it and I love Kiefer of course! I'm glad I listened to you guys and that I decided to watch! '24' is good, but TWW still rules though!

Both are about equal - season one has less torture that season two, season one is also more emotional for Jack as it is centred more around his family.

I reckon season 1 just has the edge, mainly because the last 5 hours were better. And season 2 had that daft bit in the woods with Kim and the cat. Mind you, season 1 had the infamous forgetful cardigan-wearer, so perhaps that makes them equal...
