Yeh I read them - devastated. There are more on TWP website but I lost the will to read anymore when I discovered Leo's fate. He is my favourite charactor and the interaction between Leo and Bartlet in older episodes are priceless. Even An Khe last nite was vintage Leo 'face with a map of the world on it'. 'I think the words we are looking for are Oh my goodness'

I imagine the cast members all hit themselves over their heads with copies of their binding contracts everytime they receive new scripts - except for Josh Malina who probably needed the job!
My inbox, too, is awash with news stories that would make tough skinned spinster-with-cats weep.
That and having seen a new episode, you know, john Wells should stick to producing and not touch writing. He should stick to sort-of producing..... getting the money, contracts signed... nothing that involves the creativity needed that he so evidently lacks.

I have stayed resolutely spoiler-free during my long adoration of TWW. Now I've lost season 5 just as it was picking up, having moved into a house without E4. And, in spite of knowing it would struggle post-AS, I haven't until now wanted to know just how bad things might get. So I checked this out in the forlorn hope that my worst fears wouldn't be realised. Nope, they've gone beyond my worst fears. They generally call it 'jumping the shark' don't they? Not being able to recall Happy Days, my frame of reference is always what happened to my previous fave US show, Moonlighting (anyone under 20 may struggle here!) after David and Maddie did it and she got pregnant. That is, a whole host of lousy far-fetched plots which succeeded in sucking the magic straight out of the programme, which was eventually cancelled 2 seasons later. Having read those spoliers, it all sounds horribly familiar... Never mind. To paraphrase Bogart: 'we'll always have Two Cathedrals'. And countless other masterpieces.
