I haven't seen a second of series 4, but based entirely on the "Christmas coincidence" theory outlined on another thread, Richard Schiff will win Best Supporting Actor!

No Richard Schiff then, so I was wrong Go on, give an award to Martin! Him and Rob Lowe are the only ones in the key six never to win, aren't they?

Well the 15 nominations have certainly produced a huge shock in the media cos the ratings have slumped so much, but after all, it is down to politics..

Obviously if it was up to me i'd give tww an award for everything, however i definitely think alison janney and bradley whitford should win - they are outstanding. Quite surprised richard schiff wasn't nominated aswell.
maybe if AS wins an emmy for his writing he'll decide to stay (fingers crossed)

I was a bit disapointed that Janel Maloney was not nomiated in the supporting character, in series 4 I think she had a bigger input that the First Lady.
Brad to win!

Interesting to note that last year Six Feet Under was the leader with the most nominations but The West Wing came out on top as the show with the most wins. Might happen again, however last year's performance may mean the show is out of the spotlight to give others a chance.

Sometimes I want to hit myself for sacrificing my digital TV for the sake of broadband.
When I do get my digital TV back, I think this time I'll choose Sky over ntl:home. But can anybody tell me, does Sky still suffer during bad weather? The in the days of analogue Sky, whenever it rained heavy or there was a storm, the picture quality would take a deep dive into oblivion. Since Sky transmits above the ground and through the atmosphere, I'm guessing weather still effects it. But can anyone give me a definite yes or no? The red interactive button is bad enough!

We changed from NTL to Sky last October and have never looked backed, I have not noticed anything with the quality of the picture. I like the fact that we don't have to miss out on certain channels that only sky have such as Sky Sports Extra. Their customer services are easier to get through to as well!!
