Ive just went for a wee nosey around a few sites and clicked in to TWP (Television Without Pity). I dont want to put 'things' on the site in case I upset but oh boy, am I sorry. The stories coming out of NBC and John Wells in particular.....Im losing the will to live. I will treasure my 1-4 Box Sets as I feel the West Wing as we know it is well and truly over. Gutted

It is, kaput! The characters have been mutilated, the actors do their best to deliver what are at most clunky scripts.... it's terrible. John Wells has certainly made TWW unbearably disappointing. It's sad to see new episodes these days. Dont get me wrong, some of the non-AS eps have been good, some great bits of TV. it's just.... John Wells, GRRRRRRR!!!!! An overbearing, self-centred Hitler-esque control freak if ever there was to be one on US television.

I think series five has picked up. The first four five episodes weren't so good. takes a while to adjust to the lack of Sorkin but the past couple of weeks have been great. It's not as bad as you make out. Although i do despise what Wells has done to Will's character.

It's sad to see new episodes these days. I *so* agree- sadly... No spoilers from me but the new season 6 in the US, well, the first episode was promising.. but the second was quite possibly some of the worst TV I have seen in a while- utterly dreadful. I almost cried I was so heart broken to what they have done to my favourite show I just don't know if I can even keep watching- and I know I am not alone..
