:: shudders :: Fan fiction. A lot of the fan fic I've come accros involves a huge amount of fantasy indulgement. Donna and Josh as a couple, Leo and Margaret getting intimate.... no, really, if Margaret rubs Leo's groin he gets.... that's when I stopped reading and moved on. Hopefully that sort of thing will remain in the domain of the fan fiction authors.

Some say that season five mirrors some of the fan fiction - that's even scarier!!

Some say that season five mirrors some of the fan fiction - that's even scarier!! Don't be silly, series 5 isn't that good! Nah, that's being a bit unfair. But at least if you go into watching it with low expectations you won't be too disapointed!

Season five has it's good days.... I remember similar things being said about season three, and sometimes I felt my interest wane.... but, hey, I can't wait for the DVDs to see it all again without logos, adverts and videotape static. Fan fiction.... oh my. A very small amount of it can be considered good. Most of it is like West Wing: After Hours (there you go, a new show idea in itself) and there is far too much of a fascination in what's in Josh's trousers and how Donna makes use of it

Fanfic scares me. Ever since I heard about some of the Harry Potter fanfic.

I read in Topping's unauthorised guide that there's an awful lot of "slash" fiction which, I am reliably informed, is code for same sex relationships.
Lots of Sam/Josh apparently. and even Sam/Toby.
sorry if I've spoiled anyone's dinner!

Such 'slash' fiction can be found here: www.ravenswing.com/~mirrorgirl/westwing.htmlI will explain how I know where this site is. When you do a Google image search with the term 'west wing' you'll come across a picture that looks like Bradley Whitford and Rob Lowe topless and touching each other. I have, I can't believe I'm saying this, read the fiction out of curiosity to see what direction the website was swinging in. Yep.

Ok have to admit, despite my huge fear of fanfiction I had to look at that link.
And oh my goodness that is just plain disturbing!!

As long as no-one's done "Jed and Leo: The Early Years"... ...please tell me they haven't!

I only wish I could lie to you. A google search for 'Jed and Leo fan fiction' will bring you the results you never wished to see

There are no avatars that can do justice to what I have just read. I feel soiled. It wasn't even "The Early Years", it was the two of them after Night Five. WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS OF ANOTHER KIND. STOP READING NOW IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED!!
Dear me, "Lose the shorts, Leo." "Their erections entwined." Worse still, a threesome with Jed, Leo and Abbey with the hilarious "Abbey wiped them down. She always looked after them, as she knew how they hated to wake up crusty and uncomfortable."
Well, that takes the award for "Most tasteless use of the word 'crusty' in history.
There's some Leo/Josh stuff out there too!
I wonder if anyone has done a "What really happens on Will's late nights with Cassie and the Laurens" yet...
