Watched ep 403 last night and found it to be poor by TWW standards. Sheen looked a bit flat, and the chemistry with the new secetary is not there yet.
Mind you I haven't seen 401 & 402!

Was out on tuesday so set the video and my stupid little brother changed the sky channel. Out again tomorrow so i'll have to put my faith in technology once again. Honestly may cry if it doesn't work. I'm a west wing addict and need help.

Oh I just thought this was a BRILLIANT episode! It wasn't one of those A1 classics but it moved so quickly, covered a HUGE amount of ground, was full of characteristically superb dialogue and the usual Sorkinesque subtlety and fluidity. Bartlet's speech near the start (the one Bruno referenced later) was for me his finest hour since "Decisions are made by those who show up" in S1 and just as I thought the thing was getting too sentimental with that MLK song played by ?Aimee Mann, the way its central line was used at the very end, after the resolution to make just one simple change re college kids and tax breaks was flipping marvellous. Haven't seen episode 4 yet cos I've been working away, but apparently episode 5 has some flashbacks!! Always a good sign

The song Aimee Mann was singing is called Shed A Little Light and it's originally by James Taylor. His version is amazing.
