From NBC: When the President (Martin Sheen) is overheard making a disparaging comment on an open-mike about the potential Republican nominee, C.J. (Allison Janney) does damage control for days after while Toby (Richard Schiff) tries to finesse the newly named poet laureate (Laura Dern) from speaking out against the United States' lack of support for a land-mines treaty. Elsewhere, Sam (Rob Lowe) recalls Republican White House legal counsel Ainsley Hayes (Emily Procter) from vacation to help spin the administration's response to Bartlet's gaffe; Josh (Bradley Whitford) is both repulsed and intrigued by the fact that he has his own fan-based Web site -- LemonLyman.com.
I like this episode for obvious reasons, this is pure comic genius stuff for Donna and Josh. It also has Ainsley back a character who I have to admire turning down a promotion as she hasn't earned it. It also shows a different side to Toby, which is explored further in series 4.

I think that this is possibly the most light hearted episode so far in S3, and that made it all the more enjoyable. Loved the references to One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest for the web site.
Plus it had Laura Dern in it.

Yep, another very fine episode: after an uncertain start to S3 every episode from Bartlet for America onwards has been of a high standard. I particularly liked the cheeky little revelation at the end.
And for first-timers: next week's is very good as well, and you may even start liking the least likeable recurring character a little bit more...
