Inspired by the fact that I watched A Few Good Men last night, I decided to start a thread discussing films written by AS.
You want answers?

I want the truth! I've actually not seen any other AS films other than the american pres. I know what a few good men is, I've seen bits every now and then when it's on the box. Is his writing the same for all the other stuff he does that I know of?

You can't handle the truth!
AFGM is a military drama/thriller. Which is a bit of a departure from TWW/TAP. The dialogue is as sharp as always and the rapid style speaking is also there.

It's a long time since I've seen AFGM but I remember it being very impressive, especially the Big Scene everyone remembers ("You can't handle the truth!" etc.) I only heard it was by Aaron Sorkin just a few months ago. Obviously this made it seem even more impressive. It certainly shares with TWW a quite brilliant cast, one of the best ever assembled in the 90s along with Pulp Fiction and LA Confidential.

Just finished watching Malice - another AS movie. It's good (of course it's good it's Aaron Sorkin) but quite different from any others. there are some similarities to the dialogue in tww e.g. Alec Baldwin's character is called jed, there's a mention of Lillianfield and the phrase "when angels dance on pinheads is used". It's a good film but TAP is still my favourite of his films cos it's so like tww.
