This programme, from the trailer I saw, looks interesting:
The Day Britain Stopped Channel: BBC2 Date: Tuesday 13 May Time: 9:00pm to 10:30pm
Review A fictional UK transport crisis develops over the course of one day - 19 December 2003 - in this dramatised documentary. Made in the style of a classic retrospective documentary, with hindsight interviews with key players (primarily played by actors) and mock archive footage, the programme looks at a catastrophe and national tragedy that unfolds when the warning signs of over-burdened transport systems are ignored. Narrated by Tim Pigott-Smith. Written by Simon Finch and Gabriel Range.

I'm gonna both watch and tape and turn the TV on downstairs at the right time and scare the hell out of somebody But seriously now, I agree too, it's one of those unique programmes that I have to watch. Same with Brass Eye God, I've got into some trouble with that one, being told off by the missus that I shouldn't watch that sort of thing when people are round.

Don't you just find people annoying when they say programmes like Brass Eye are stupid. Actually, they say they are stupid, rubbish and plain wrong and offensive all in one go. Tends to be the people who've not seen the programme or don't understand the genre (confusing satire with comedy, which are two different things over all). Also tends to be the people who insist on watching EastEnders and Corrie religiously and buy The Sun because it's a "good" newspaper and the TV Guide is full of soap news. That's just my opinion anyway.

I never saw the smallpox thing. I only found out about that programme today when I noticed a link on the BBC website detailing tonight's show. I'm so lame

It was really freeky - it scared the hell out of me as it looked so real. It also had a bit of a west wing link as in The Crackpots and these women CJ asks Josh to look at a article on small pox - which he belives is a great threat than a nuclear attack - the card
