From ananova.com:
The future of The West Wing could be in question because its stars are reportedly demanding a further pay increase.
Cast members Allison Janney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford and John Spencer are thought to have approached Warner Bros to ask for nearly double their salary.
It is thought that the Emmy-nominated actors, who currently earn about £50,000 per episode, want their pay cheques raised to around £95,000 per episode.
Last year they had their pay raised after they refused to show for work until their demands were met, reports Variety.com.
Main star Martin Sheen reportedly earned £2 million for the last series of the hit show, based around a fictional US president.
TV network NBC recently signed a deal for the show to continue until at least 2005.
