Now last time we followed bands with songs. So let's do it again, but with a little WW spin... Inspired by moments like 'Brothers in Arms' (welcome to the boards by the way, BIA) and 'Hallelujah', please name a song to fit with a scene in the West Wing. Obviously this would be better if it were a real scene (please stick to seasons 1-4) but you can imagine one if you like. Do try and keep it clean if you take this option, I still have nightmares about the time I read some Jed/Leo fiction... Don't use a scene that already has a backing song, and always name/describe the scene otherwise it's no fun! For example, for E you might choose 'Embarrassment' by Madness, for the squirmsome moment in 20 Hours in LA where Josh seizes the day and goes to Joey's hotel room... to come face to face with Al Kiefer... So, for the scene in 'Bartlet For America' where Leo gets drunk in his hotel room: 'Alcoholic' by Starsailor (cos 'Daddy was an alcoholic...' as well)

Nice twist DH!
Ok, mine is "Back To You" by John Mayer in the "I wouldn't stop for redlights" scene in 17 people. Here are some the lyrics, so those of you who don't know it can see why:
Back to you It always comes around Back to you I tried to forget you I tried to stay away But it's too late
Over you I'm never over Over you Something about you It's just the way you move The way you move me
I'm so good at forgetting And I quit every game I play But forgive me, love I can't turn and walk away
Leave the light on I'll never give up on you Leave the light on For me too
Back to me I know that it comes Back to me Doesn't it scare you Your will is not as strong As it used to be
If you think about it, I think it works really well. Plus it's a really beautiful song.

All the way back to the pilot - when Sam realises he has Laurie's pager:
'Call Me' (Blondie)
Especially fitting as it's from a film about the male equivalent of a call girl... (American Gigolo)

It requires too much thought, we need something a little less taxing

OK then, seeing as the board has livened up a bit lately and in an attempt to resurrect a once-popular thread, here's something sooo simple I can't believe we haven't done it before... Just take a character from The West Wing and think of an adjective (or, if you're really pushed, a noun like, er, 'President') that describes them! Couldn't be easier Once we've done the alphabet for one we can go on to the next, so it could keep us occupied for months! So here goes with BARTLET A is for avuncular...
