Just out of interest what is the most west wing obsessed thing you have done or own. Personally i have down loaded the music featured on the west wing to make my own west wing cd, have the west wing ringtone on my phone and have seen every episode at least five times. I'm sure someone can beat that. (there are other things which i may confess to when i see what kind of replies this gets.)

I set up a website (surprise, surprise... I think not, you are, after all, using it right now) even though it's only online 50% of the time due to circumstances beyond my control. Downloaded the entire season four on a 56k modem, but then again, many people did and nobody blames them for it. For the past year I've been supplying Americans with NTSC videos of seasons one and two (bless 'em, they still don't have official releases). And I've downloaded a couple of songs that were used in certain episodes.
The logo on my phone is still 007, and the ringtone is still Itchy & Scratchy. Somethings never change.
Okay, let's regress a bit here. I do have a home made CD called West Wing Music. But, in my defence, it also has 'et al' written on it because when I make CDs I tend to fill them up with whatevers knocking about.

I have watched S1 & 1st part of S2 at least 6 times, have watched S2 a couple of times & am currently watching the whole of S1 & 2 again.
I refuse to let my family tape over any S3 episode we have on video.
I have the sheet music for the theme tune, which i used to put the ringtone on my phone. have still got eeyore as my logo though.
On my laptop I have West Wing backgrounds that change every hour & a west wing screen saver that shows different pictures & plays the theme tune.
I have a lot of the songs used on my computer & will be on a west wing CD as soon as i have enough. I have blame it on the bossa nova, hallelujah, the theme tune, the jackal, the west wing suite, brothers in arms, new york minute and more i can't remember right now.
I spend most of the time when i'm on the interent either on this website, or reading west wing fanfic at various websites.
I know large chunks of my favourite episodes by heart & the rest of my family contantly tell me to shut up when we're watching them. I also get told to shut up when i start telling them bits of trivia they don't know.
I bought my mum The Official Companion for mother's day, but i think it's spent more time in my room because i'm typing most of it up for both this site & for me to read when i'm away at uni next year.
I think that's it now.

I have watched 46 episodes at least 5 times each and have all on vid obviously. I have the West Wing Ringtone on my phone and will be getting the screensaver on my computer. I will start to make a compliation CD shortly. I go on the internet at least 5 times a week at the moment and spend most of my time on here or searching for news. I learn inane trivia to wind my friends up with 24/7 and have the official companion. I also wind up bookshop sales assistants when they wont get in the unoffical books. Another thing I do is get people addicted to The West Wing so it has a better chance of good ratings.

I have dowloaded every single piece of music ever featured on the show and made up my own TWW-CD's. I've got 3 of them now with each about 20 songs on them. For those CD's I have created a CD-booklet with all the texts from the songs and information about the artists. I typ out my favourite dialogues from the show and hang them up in my room! I write fan fiction, which I love by the way! And am an obsessed reader of fan fiction! From the moment I have a few minutes with nothing to do I go out in search for new fan fiction. I've watched season 1 about ... oh ... 7 times (on DVD) now. I have seen season 2 about 4 times already, which is the main reason why my tapes are beginning to wear down. I'll be sooo happy when I have those S2-DVD's. I go crazy just thinking about the fact that I know every episode from season 3 and 4 by heart ... even without actually having seen them! Can't stand the waiting ... it's killing me! I go out in search for spoilers with so much passion that it's almost like it's the last thing I'll ever do in live. And when I do find the spoilers ... I go mentally insane for a few minutes and start bouncing around! I try to watch every film or TV-show featuring one of the TWW-actors. Even if the actor only appears for 2 seconds (eg. Richard Shiff in 'Michael'). I gush about the show for hours with other fans from all over the world on MSN! We just can't seem to get enough TWW in our system! Hence the daily shot of TWW that I must have every day. Even if it's only 5 minutes from one of my favourite eps. Last, but not least ... writing silly comments and paranoid ramblings to this TWW-forum and tracking down new TWW-sites so that I can bookmark them. That's about it! Crazy enough for you? Probably not!

I also wind up bookshop sales assistants when they wont get in the unoffical books. That's a good point. Whilst I tend not to wind too many people up for fear of getting brutally assaulted, I do notice that all the bookshops I go in, and WHSmiths, tend not to have unofficial West Wing books and usually one copy of anything official. Whereas Buffy and Angel have everything from "The Definative Season Three Guide" to "Buffy's Taste In Fashion: Uncovered". And about fifteen thousand copies of Coronation Street: The Novel (honest to God, forty years on TV and they think we care so much as to read the stories all over again).

I've forced friends to watch the anti God rant from The Two Cathedrals and had the theme tune as a ringtone on my mobile phone. (Before it was nicked. Bastards.)
I'm also still planning my cross stitch t shirt. Once I've decided what to put on it.

The west wing is an addition. I too go in search of spoilers and ruin future episodes. I want to keep it a surprise but can't stand waiting.

I must admit that compared to the above I am a mere amature. I only hold the season 1 and 2 on dvd and have started got about half of season 4 downloaded, and collected a few of season three on the way. I do tend to visit this site at least daily but have tended to find other sites a bit droll. I must say though that I am proud to be able to say that i have watched from episode one on the t.v and for the sh*t that chanel 4 have done with the way it's bumped around the schedule this in itself is a feat of accomplishment.
I do tend to find it quite difficult where i live to find anyone who has an interest in anything mildly intelligent on the box and they tend to live as i like to say "Soap Hell" but there is always the shining light of the TWW to guide me to the safe areas.........

ok im not nearly as devoted as most of you it seems but... i do hang on every word of each episode and quite often end up in tears, much to my flatmate's amusement. i have relentlessly been trying to convert everyone to ww fans, so far managed 3 of my friends, my mother, 2 flatmates and am working on the people at the tw boards. got seriously upset when the hotel where i was staying over the last weekend of my trip to the states didnt have bravo. tried really hard to persuade the others that we needed to find a new one so i could stay in the hotel room all weekend and watch the documentary and the ones from series one that i missed first time around. but they suggested i get a life and threatend to ditch me which brings me too this.... Downloaded the entire season four on a 56k modem, but then again, many people did and nobody blames them for it. . have never downloaded episodes of anything before, and missed the series finale when i was away in the states for the summer. if anyone could advise me of a) how long it would take per ep on 56k modem, and b) where to get the episodes i would be very grateful. ta

No consistent examples of utter madness, but...
Last Tuesday I was working away in Sheffield. I live in Birmingham. My video is buggered. E4 do second chance Sunday but I would be at the Leeds Festival. Can't ask anyone to tape it as I literally wouldn't get chance to watch it on a non-buggered video before Tuesday and there's no way I'm falling behind.
So I drove all the way from Sheffield to Birmingham just for TWW, and then drove all the way back to my hotel at 10pm.
I haven't admitted this to anyone apart from this forum...

Just imagine if E4 suddenly cancelled it so they could link up live with Channel 4 news for non-stop breaking news coverage of Big Bro Nush getting attacked.

Actually, just looking back (thanks to BBC News Online) that was only five days ago. I feel like I read it weeks ago.
