West Wing Central?

Hi ,

Anyone out there use west wing central, the, ahem, 'chat' room on mirc?

Lately when I try to connect it's not in the channel list.

Now that i;m taping s4 i'm trying to download 306-322

It's probably closed until season five.

I'm sure mirc is the place where the episode downloads come from, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't know how to use it. I rely on the more user friendly Bittorrent programme. My point is, I'm sure both ways bring about the same results, in which case, you won't find season three to download. The episdoe downloads are around for about two weeks, usually, because by then whoever wants the episode has it downloaded and, I know bittorrent does for sure, the longevity of the download relies on people uploading and sharing. And nobody does that for very long since newer episodes become available. That's what I think, anyway.

mIRC is one of those 'get it now before it's gone' kinda things (I imagine) and is more of an up-to-date resource rather than an archive.

You could try Kazaa, but I have to say there's not much of season three on there and what there is is of average quality.

Your best bet would be to find someone with the episodes on tapes that they could lend you. And nobody can sue me for saying that because that's the same thing that a spokesperson for Warner Bros. said when asked about acquiring previous episodes.

If KazaA doesn't have the eps you’re looking for try Overnet. I've been using it to download some eps from season 3. The only problem with Overnet is, that if your on 56K dial up you have no chance of downloading anything, It's more geared up for users with fast internet connections.
