You're forgiven. Obviously you made the choice in a misguided moment and regret not going to Glasgow Uni. Welcome to the Forum Cuddles.

From Nottingham (boys, it's not true about there being 6 women to every man , though it's about 60-40... ;D), went to uni in Sheffield (still my favourite place) and now live and work in Birmingham (sorry Brummies, it's a weird city, perhaps I'm too much of a Northerner). Hello all, this is my first post to any forum, let alone a 'breakaway' one, so please be gentle. I, like DarkHoarse, am originally from Nottingham and went to University in Sheffield, I also moved down to Birmingham after Uni where I worked and lived for a year before moving to London. Can't wait for tonight!

Welcome.
Spooky coincidences there, what made you leave Birmingham then...? Could be one of many reasons I suppose...
Do go to the 'How old are you' bit so we can see if we were around the uni at the same time (quite likely as I was around in one way or another for 8 years!)

From a crappy little town in Leicestershire, where the sun never shines and the people are very weird - I think the late great Bill hicks summed it up best when he said that this kind of people would say " Hi I'd like you to meet my Sister and my Wife " and there would be one person standing next to him - Nuff Said

I'm pretty shocked actually that I seem to be the only fully fledged Londoner here - born and bred. I love it here, I can't imagine living anywhere else too far away for a long period of time, I'd miss the city so much. There's not a lot like it. Also shocked at the glasgow/scotland conspiracy - I also know someone who lives in glasgow who's a total wingnut. I guess y'all up there must just all have exceptional taste, that's the only way I can think to account for it!
